After 25+ books under my belt, I’ve put together this quick reader–author speed-dating guide to help you decide whether to swipe away or if you’ve found the perfect match for your next romantic book escape.
Basically, we’ll see if my storytelling style suits your reading tastes.
So let’s find out if we’re a match, shall we?
POV & Voice:
→ Written in close 3rd Person
→ I generally write in dual POV (both main characters get their say)
→ Highly visual storytelling — think like you’re watching a movie with cinematic scenic shots. I treat some settings (outback landscapes, magical houses, furniture, weather) like important side-characters. It makes the books more atmospheric… Just sayin’.
English Styles:
Outback Romances
→ written in Australian English (spelling, slang, landscape lingo)
Magical Romances
→ written in American English for genre consistency
My website + socials are also in Aussie English because… I’m an Aussie 💛
(But don’t worry—Forget Forever is written in American English for a global audience.)
