🛤 Where do the ideas come from?

Everywhere.

It’s true—I’ll just be driving around when I see something… and BAM!
A story takes hold, and I’ve gotta put pen to paper.

I’ve trekked, travelled, boated, flown, wandered, and lived in Northern Australia for over (cough) 30+ years. As a long-term local, I love exploring my big, beautiful backyard—visiting places most people will never see.

So yeah, a lot of Elsie Creek’s stories are inspired by real NT history, quirky legends, and outback life.

And, this is the land of legends.

I could say hitting #1 on the International Bestseller lists (pretty sure they heard my scream in the US when that happened!).
