★ Do I know any Stock Squad members?
Yes! If you’ve read any of the book series from The Elsie Creek World you’ll recognise two familiar faces:
- Finn—the boss, introduced in Stockman’s Stormcloud.
- Cowboy Craig—a huge (and I mean huge) fan-favourite who has appeared in so many books, like The Station Series, it looks like I may have to do a separate post just about this character.
★ Where did the idea for The Stock Squad come from?
Bree. You see, my favourite female character from The Stockmen Series needed a—

Let’s just say, if you’ve read Stockman’s Stormcloud, you’ve already met Finn. He was such a larger-than-life character that my editor pretty much demanded he get his own HEA. And after talking to a few police officers, local stockmen, farmers, and the odd crocodile wrangler or two, the Stock Squad Series was born!
★ Is The Stock Squad a standalone series like The Elsie Creek Series?
Kind of. There is an overarching mystery like you’ll find in The Stockmen Series. However, each book follows a new romance, so following the books in order is recommended for a better reading experience.
🌏 Is it set in the Elsie Creek World?
A-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y! I love this world. Many readers love this world. It has so many layers to this small town full of secrets and unique outback history, that this is just another fantastic piece to that story world.
