It highlights the romantic outback adventure this pair of sisters endure, made even more challenging as they don’t even like each other!

The story’s inspiration was real!

THE SISTER TRIP was literally born on the road when I took a road trip last year through some remote regions of the Northern Territory outback. It was with my best friend. Which meant loads of effortless fun.

Besides keeping my finger on my camera (as per the image below), I took lots of notes, making up nicknames for plants and mountains, that ended up being included in this fun new story.

When fiction may not be a fact

In case you were asking, that real-life road trip with my BFF that inspired THE SISTER TRIP story…

We didn’t fight or kick each out other of the car, like the Voss sisters. Nor did we break all the rules for going on a road trip. Instead, we laughed a lot. We also sang terribly to a never-ending playlist, wearing big smiles on our dials, soaking up the amazing countryside that’s a big part of THE SISTER TRIP.
